The Janesville Police Department would like to provide an update regarding the investigation of the two missing juveniles, Pamela Torres-Castellanos and Liliana Garcia-Barranco.

Last night, Detective Stubbendick worked closely with law enforcement agencies in Florida and, as a result of those collaborative efforts, received confirmation that both Pamela and Liliana had been located. We are pleased to report that both juveniles were found safe and unharmed.

At this time, the juveniles are being cared for at a youth assessment facility while arrangements are made for their transportation back to Wisconsin. We do not have a specific timeframe regarding their return.

Throughout the investigation, Detective Stubbendick has remained in regular contact with both families and will continue to work closely with them as this process moves forward. We ask the community and members of the media to respect the privacy of the juveniles and their families during this time.
