The Ashland Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a crash that occurred on June 4, 2026.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026, Ashland Police Officers responded to the area of Washington Highway/Route 1 and Johnson Road for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The motorcycle was traveling on the northbound side of Route 1 when the rider reported being struck from behind by another vehicle, described as a white pick-up truck. The white pick-up truck fled the scene. The motorcycle rider was treated by Hanover County Fire/EMS and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
