The female victim,46, was working at an area business when she confronted the suspect for shoplifting. The suspect lunged toward the victim, spat at her, and fled on foot with the merchandise. SUSPECT: White male adult.
2. Homicide (1505) 700 Block of West Anderson Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a person shot. Officers located the male victim, 43, in the listed area suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injury. Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
