LOCATION: Foothill Blvd. / Ramona Ave., Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Moises Hernandez, 28-year-old Resident of Jurupa Valley
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 4, 2026, at approximately 10:49 P.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station were actively patrolling in the area of Foothill Blvd. and Ramona Ave. Deputies observed a Dodge Ram speeding down the roadway, and conducted a traffic stop for California Vehicle Code Violations.
Deputies contacted the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, later identified as Moises Hernandez. Through investigation, deputies determined Hernandez was under the influence of alcohol and too intoxicated to operate the vehicle. During the investigation, deputies conducted an inventory of the vehicle, and a loaded unregistered handgun was found.
Hernandez was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC25850(A)- Carry a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place, and VC23152(A)- Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
