New Port Richey, Florida – On Monday, June 8, 2026, the Sims Park playground will be closed for the day while City staff pressure washes the shade sails and thoroughly cleans the playground equipment and surrounding area. This routine maintenance helps keep the playground looking its best and ensures a safe, clean, and enjoyable place for children and families to play.
The playground is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Monday, ready for more fun and adventures.
