CAD CALLS:907
1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1713) 700 Block of East Swain Road, Lakeview District
The female victim, 30, was in the listed area when she was struck by the suspect with an unknown object. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was treated at the scene. SUSPECT: Black female adult.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1716) 5800 Block of Linda Sue Drive, Lakeview District
The female victim, 55, was in the area when the suspect arrived and caused a disturbance. When the victim told the suspect to leave, the suspect pointed a firearm at her and struck her before fleeing in a vehicle. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black female adult.
3. Battery / Resisting Arrest (1828) 1100 Block of March Lane, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a report of a man armed with a firearm. Officers contacted the suspect, who refused to comply with officers’ commands and reached into his pocket. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Richard Townsend, 30, for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and destruction of evidence.
4. Robbery (1841) 300 Block of East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, Seaport District
The male victim, 29, was in the area when he confronted the suspect, who was attempting to enter the victim’s vehicle. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim, assaulted him, and took the victim’s property. The suspect fled in a vehicle. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Hispanic or Middle Eastern male adult.
5. Robbery (2000) Poplar Street and American Street, Civic District
The male victim, 50, was walking in the area when the suspects approached him in a vehicle. The suspects assaulted him, took his property, and fled. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Two adult Black males.
6. Battery on an Officer (2011) 6000 Block of Halleck Place, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the listed location on a report of terrorist threats. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to jail. While at the jail, the suspect kicked an officer and had to be restrained. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Stephan Yan, 31, for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, terrorist threats, brandishing, and battery.
