FFWSJT The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Fisher County in west central Texas...
* Until 830 PM CDT.
* At 628 PM CDT, Radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that 2 to 3 inches of rain have occurred in the southern part of Fisher County, between Gannon and Capitola, between 515 PM and 625 PM. Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches has already occurred near Roby and just east of Rotan. Additional rainfall of three quarters of an inch to 1.5 inches is expected from ongoing showers and storms. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Rotan, Roby, Longworth, Busby, Capitola and Gannon. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... SH 70 crossing The Draw Southeast of Rotan, US 180 crossing 7 miles west of Roby and FM 611 crossing 1 mile west of Rotan.
* AFFECTED AREAS: FISHER, TX
