On Thursday, June 4, 2026, at approximately 6:47 PM, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Haddon Avenue for a reported residential burglary. The investigation revealed that an unknown individual forcibly entered a residence at approximately 4:15 PM and stole personal property from inside the home.

Responding officers immediately began an investigation, conducting a neighborhood canvass and reviewing available surveillance footage. Witnesses also assisted investigators by providing statements and video evidence.

The following morning, the victim provided additional information that directed officers to a nearby location. As officers approached the residence and made contact with the occupants, a male suspect fled from the rear of the property on foot. Officers quickly located and detained the individual without incident.

The suspect was identified as Kenneth D. Davis, 27, of Absecon, formerly of Louisiana.

During the investigation, officers recovered property stolen during the burglary.

Davis was charged with:

• Burglary
• Theft
• Criminal Mischief
• Defiant Trespass

Following processing, Davis was committed to the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending court proceedings.
