...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM MDT MONDAY DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS... ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM MDT TUESDAY DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND THE NORTHWEST PLATEAU... ... .Strong southwest winds with low humidity, hot temperatures, and deep mixing will increase the risk for rapid fire spread over far west central New Mexico, including Gallup, Monday before expanding to much of northwest and west-central NM Tuesday. Any dry lightning strikes that occur over west central New Mexico Monday may result in fire starts that rapidly spread Tuesday. The National Weather Service in Albuquerque NM has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.

* TIMING...From noon to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 5 to 13 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
