The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will be conducting a training exercise at Santa Anita Park today until 1:00 PM.
Residents and visitors in the area may hear simulated gunfire and observe a low-flying helicopter as part of the exercise. This is a planned training event, and there is no threat to the public.
