July 4, 2026, Celebration
Larkspur and Corte Madera will once again celebrate the Fourth of July with a Parade and Art Fair at Corte Madera Town Park. We hope the following information helps those joining us enjoy a safe and festive day.
PARADE: The parade route will remain the same as last year. The parade will begin at 10:30 AM at Redwood High School in Larkspur, proceeding westbound on Doherty Drive. It will then turn south onto Magnolia Avenue, continue onto Corte Madera Avenue, and turn east onto Redwood Avenue. From there, it will proceed along Tamalpais Drive to Madera Boulevard, concluding at the intersection of Tamalpais Drive and Madera Boulevard.
The Central Marin Police Department will begin closing streets at 10:00 AM. Closures will remain in effect until the parade reaches its endpoint, approximately 1:30 PM.
ROAD CLOSURES: After 10:00 AM, access will be limited. Motorists may only turn onto Madera Boulevard from westbound Tamalpais Drive or enter the south side of Corte Madera Town Center once the parade begins. If you plan to park in the shopping center, we recommend taking the Madera Boulevard exit from US‑101 South or the Paradise Drive exit from US‑101 North.
Magnolia Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic at Bon Air Road. Corte Madera Avenue and Redwood Avenue will be closed at town limits to through traffic during the parade. Traffic entering from Lucky Drive will be redirected to Tamal Vista Boulevard, as Lucky Drive will be closed at Fifer Avenue.
Pixley Avenue will be closed throughout the day, with access limited to residents of Pixley Avenue and lower Redwood Avenue. The tennis court parking area will be reserved for arts and crafts vendors.

GLASS CONTAINERS & ALCOHOL:
Glass containers are prohibited in the Town Park. Alcohol brought into the park is restricted by town ordinance. Violations involving minors in possession, furnishing alcohol to minors, and public intoxication will be strictly enforced.
There will be a strong police presence throughout the day to ensure a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July for all attendees.
