A message from the Mayor: Good afternoon, Certain individuals are pursuing the dissolution of our Village, driven by dissatisfaction with previous outcomes. In doing so, they may overlook the vital importance of our first responders. Our emergency services attend to a range of incidents, including house fires, medical emergencies, and automobile accidents. A notable example is the 2019 Christmas morning fire on Front Street, where our responders acted with courage and speed. The rescue of a lady from her apartment and the subsequent firefighting efforts preserved lives and local businesses.
