Deputies Arrest Woman Accused of Striking Victim with Baseball Bat
DATE/TIME: Thursday, June 4, 2026, at approximately 6:10 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(1) - Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Not a Firearm)
LOCATION: 1900 block of Erin Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Xena Boswell, 29-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, June 4, 2026, at approximately 6:10 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Erin Drive reference an assault that just occurred.
During the investigation, deputies determined that the suspect, identified as Xena Boswell, assaulted the victim by striking her several times with a baseball bat.
Boswell was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Boswell remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $40,000.00, awaiting a court hearing. This investigation is ongoing.
