DATE/TIME: Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 3:16 a.m.
INCIDENT: H&S 11395(B)(1) - Possession of a Controlled Substance with 2 or more Priors and
Sheriff's Warrant for H&S 11364(A) - Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia
LOCATION: D Street and 3rd Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Trevino, 41-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, June 5, 2026, at approximately 3:16 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department conducted a pedestrian stop near D Street and 3rd Street in the City of Needles.
During a records check, deputies discovered that Tevino had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for H&S 11364(A)-Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. Trevino was subsequently placed under arrest. During a seach incident to arrest, deputies located a substance suspected to be methamphetamine on Trevino's person. Further investigation revealed that Trevino has prior convictions for possession of a controlled substance.
Trevino was transported and booked at the Colorado River Station jail on the above mentioned charges. This investigation is on-going.
