Gulf moisture surging northward into the state will bring heat indices into the 95 to 104-degree temperature range during peak heating both days. * Stay hydrated, avoiding alcohol and drinks with heavy caffeine or sugar.

* Take advantage of shade and air conditioning when possible.
* Take frequent breaks when working outdoors.
