At 228 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Clendenin to 7 miles north of Ansted to near Dry Creek to near Northfork. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Beckley, Summersville, Fayetteville, Clay, Babcock State Park, Oak Hill, Mullens, Mount Hope, Ansted, Arnoldsburg, Crab Orchard, and Macarthur. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 20 and 55. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 33 and 47. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 120 and 135. Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 61.
