On Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 9:07 p.m., deputies from South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to the 4400 block of Lennox Boulevard, Lennox, regarding a vehicle versus building, shots fired call.
Upon arrival, deputies located an older model Dodge coupe which had collided into the business on the northwest corner of the intersection of Lennox Boulevard and Burin Avenue.
Inside the vehicle, deputies discovered a female adult driver and male adult front passenger.
The female was suffering from a gunshot wound to her torso and the male was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Deputies rendered medical aid to the male and female.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and continued rendering medical aid to the male and female.
The female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
At this point in the investigation, Homicide Investigators have not identified any suspect(s), nor how many person(s) may have been involved in the shooting.
The possibility exists this shooting may be gang-related; however, it has not been confirmed at this time.
The investigation remains on-going.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to assist South LA Sheriff’s Station with a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 9:07 PM on the 4400 block of Lennox Blvd., in the city of Inglewood.
The victim, a female adult, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the LA County Fire Department. A male adult was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
