Join Commissioner Tashe’ Allen, Youth Services, and Parks & Recreation for the Youth Gun Violence Awareness Walk on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Gerald Matthews Sports Complex, located at 1935 McDonough Rd., Hampton, GA 30228.
A brief warm-up will begin at 9:45 a.m. prior to the walk. Let’s come together to raise awareness and help stop gun violence in our community.
Stay afterward for a community gathering featuring entertainment and resources that can help save lives.
In-person registration begins at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Bring a poster to honor and remember a life taken too soon, and wear orange to help raise awareness!
