Hesperia Deputies Locate Drugs Inside Vehicle During Traffic Stop and Arrest Driver

INCIDENT: Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of Materials Consistent with Narcotics Sales
LOCATION: Sequoia Street and Hawthorne Avenue, Hesperia
SUSPECT: Victor Diaz, 47-year-old resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, investigators from the Hesperia Gang Investigations Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for equipment and registration violations, in Hesperia.
During the investigation, deputies located approximately 13 grams of suspected fentanyl, 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine, suspected prescription pills, narcotics paraphernalia, packaging materials consistent with narcotics sales, and over $1,200 in U.S. currency.
The owner and occupant of the vehicle, Victor Diaz, was arrested for possession for sale of controlled substance, and selling or transport of a controlled substance.
