* At 1111 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located over Riverton, or near Springfield, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This tornadic storm will be near... Riverton and Dawson around 1115 PM CDT. Mechanicsburg and Buffalo around 1120 PM CDT. Illiopolis around 1130 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Niantic and Harristown. This includes the following highways... Interstate 55 between mile markers 98 and 103. Interstate 72 between mile markers 104 and 137.
