TRAFFIC ALERT: Due to a traffic collision involving downed power lines, New Avenue is currently closed between Valley Boulevard and Norwood Place.

Southern California Edison crews have arrived on scene and are actively working to assess and repair the damage. For the safety of the public and emergency personnel, the roadway will remain closed while repairs are completed.

Motorists should expect the closure to remain in place for several hours and are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes whenever possible. Delays are expected in the surrounding area.
