RESCHEDULED: Tonight's Concert in the Park postponed to Aug. 6
Due to forecasts of rain and possible thunderstorms this evening, tonight's concert in Sinatra Park has been rescheduled to Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. in Sinatra Park. The concert, which is hosted by the Puerto Rican Cultural Committee, will feature DJ Kasanova, Kevin Rodriguez, and the Salsa All-Stars as well as the Mi Sabor Boriqua Food Truck. FIFA World Cup match and Hoboken Big Match Block Parties this weekend
Residents are reminded that the FIFA World Cup kicks off today, and the first local game at NYNJ Stadium (MetLife) is this Saturday, June 13, at 6 p.m.
The City of Hoboken, and the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) are advising residents, commuters, and visitors to prepare for increased traffic and crowds on game days, especially on public transportation and at Hoboken Terminal. The City encourages residents to plan ahead, allow for extra travel time, and monitor service advisories from transportation providers. Additionally, Hoboken’s first Big Match Block Party will be held this Saturday, June 13, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on 14th Street between Bloomfield and Washington Streets. On Sunday, June 14, the block party will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., on Sinatra Drive between First and Fourth Streets. Please plan ahead for detours and parking restrictions in these block party zones.

Coffee with a Cop Wednesday, June 17
The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Police Department invite residents to Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Anthony David’s, 953 Bloomfield St.
The City announced the return of the popular community event, which encourages residents to meet HPD command staff and patrol officers, and enjoy casual conversations in a comfortable setting. Coffee will be served.
