Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges following an investigation.
On June 10 at approximately 11:19 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the 1700 block of West 3rd Street in reference to community concerns about drug activity. Investigators observed a subject, 40-year-old Anthony Selby, engaged in drug transactions and made contact with him. They took him into custody without incident and found him to be in possession of approximately 2 grams of crack cocaine.
Selby has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $8.000 secured bail.
