Ridge Road closure:
There will be continued work on PSEG's manhole project at Route 1 and Ridge Road. We expect work to begin on Monday June 15, with a full closure of Ridge Road between Route 1 and Route 27. This will be an overnight closure with access for emergency vehicles; residents will need to approach on the appropriate side of the closure. Local detour will be posted. Hours of operation will be 8pm to 5 am, this will continue for approximately three weeks.
Milling/Paving of Route 522:
Middlesex County Road Department will begin milling and paving of Route 522, between Georges Road and Kingston Lane. We expect milling to start on Monday June 15. The hours of operation will be 7 am to 3 pm, expect lane closures and brief traffic stoppages while the operation passes through the intersection of Route 522 and Kingston Lane/Ridge Road. Paving is expected to begin the following week.
