Petaluma, Calif. – The Petaluma Police Department issued 17 citations for a variety of violations made by riders and drivers during an e-Bike/e-Scooter safety operation on June 11, 2026.
27 riders were stopped utilizing e-Bikes or e-Scooters for various vehicle code violations. 10 vehicles were stopped for various vehicle code violations.
The operation took place throughout Petaluma from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Petaluma Police Department is committed to working with the community to enhance the safety of everyone while navigating through the city.
