* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Bergen and Hudson and southeast New York, including the following counties, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan) and Queens.
* WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 652 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.50 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.50 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jersey City, Jamaica, Flushing, Mott Haven, Hoboken, East Tremont, Hackensack, Valley Stream, Lyndhurst, Rutherford, Woodmere, Secaucus, Ridgefield, Great Neck, Crown Heights, RFK Bridge, Laguardia Airport, Midtown Manhattan, Throgs Neck Bridge and Kennedy Airport. - This includes the following Event Locations...
