CAD CALLS: 968
1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1830) American Street and Park Street, Civic District
The female victim, 29, was walking in the listed area when a vehicle stopped beside her. The suspects, one of whom was armed with brass knuckles, exited the vehicle and assaulted the victim. The suspects fled in the vehicle. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by medics at the scene. SUSPECTS: three Black female adults.
2. Robbery (2153) 700 Block of East Church Street, Seaport District
The male victims, 32 and 27, were walking when the suspect walked up to them, demanding money. The victims refused, and the suspect struck them both in the face. The suspect took both victims' property and fled eastbound on Church St, towards the tracks. SUSPECT: Hispanic male
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2203) Flora Street and Center Street, Civic District
The female victim, 39, was walking her dogs near the listed location when the suspect approached her and began to argue with her. The suspect then grabbed a firearm in his pocket and shot into the ground.
The suspect tried to fire the gun again, but it malfunctioned. The suspect then assaulted the victim before fleeing on his bicycle. The victim sustained minor injuries. Officers later located the suspect and arrested him. ARRESTED: Jose Nino, 39, for Assault with a deadly weapon.
4. Homicide / Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0030) Hickock Court, Bearcreek District
Officers responded to the listed location on a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle that had crashed into a tree inside the court. The driver, a Hispanic male juvenile, was found shot in the vehicle. AMR responded to the scene and pronounced the victim. Additional officers responded to another location in the court and found the male victim, 55, suffering from a graze wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0100) Interstate 5 and Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Seaport District
The male victim, 19, was walking in the listed area when the suspect approached him and struck him with an object. The victim fled on foot and was transported to the SJGH for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: White male adult.
