Sheriff Clint Roach, reports that on June 13TH, 2026 at approximately 1330 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of M-60 and Daily Rd in Jefferson Township, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Sharon Pixler (79-years old of Otsego, MI) was traveling southbound on Daily and while attempting to enter M-60 was struck by a vehicle driven by Alison Kobiernik (31-years old of New Carlisle, IN) traveling westbound on Daily Rd.
Pixler was transported by SMCAS ambulance to Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting agencies were SMCAS Ambulance and Cassopolis Police Department.
Drugs and Alcohol are not believed to have been a factor in this incident.
