LOCATION: Seventh Street / Union Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Edgar Garcia, 37-year-old, Transient of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 11:25 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the area of Seventh Street and Union Street regarding a report of a man with a gun.
During the investigation, deputies learned Edgar Garcia walked through the area while carrying a black semi-automatic pistol. While armed, Garcia contacted an adult male and an adult female victim and pointed a handgun at them while making threats to kill them.
Deputies located Garcia near Seventh Street and Union Street. During contact with deputies, Garcia was found in possession of a handgun and a controlled substance.
Edgar Garcia was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 245(A)(2) – Assault with a Firearm on a Person, H&S 11370.1(A) – Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, and P.C. 422(A) – Criminal Threats.
