Needles Police Department Releases Arrests Made June 8, 2026- June 14, 2026
Between June 8, 2026, and June 14, 2026, deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police conducted multiple investigations that led to the arrest of the following individuals throughout the jurisdiction of the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station:
JAKE McKAY, 29 Years Old, Resident of Tucson, AZ
On Monday, June 8, 2026, at approximately 4:16 a.m., deputies contacted JAKE McKAY during a call for service near the 2000 block of Flora Vista in Needles. During the investigation, McKAY was found to be in violation of PC272(A)-Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. McKAY was subsequently arrested, issued a citation, and released at the scene with a future court date.
JEREMY PRUYN, 29 Years Old, Resident of Lake Havasy City, AZ
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at approximately 2:24 p.m., officers from the California Highway Patrol contacted JEREMY PRUYN during a traffic enforcement stop on Interstate 40 near mile marker 150. During the stop, PRUYN was found to be in violation of PC245(A)(1)-Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Not a Firearm and CVC23110(B)-Throwing Substance at Vehicle to Cause Harm. PRUYN was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. PRUYN remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
IAN FERGUSON, 33 Years Old, Resident of Kingman, AZ
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m., deputies contacted IAN FERGUSON during a traffic enforcement stop on Interstate 40 near mile marker 135. During the stop, FERGUSON was found to be in violation of PC29800(A)(1)-Felon in Possession of a Firearm, H&S11364.5(A)-Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia and H&S11377(A)-Possession of a Controlled Substance. FERGUSON was also found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for CVC12500(A)-Driving Without a License. FERGUSON was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. FERGUSON remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $80,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
JENI FOX, 40 Years Old, Resident of Hollywood, CA
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m., deputies contacted JENI FOX during a traffic enforcement stop on Interstate 40 near mile marker 135. During the stop, FOX was found to be in violation of PC148.9(A)-Giving False ID to Police Officer. FOX was also found to have 2 Out of County Warrants and one Fugitive Warrant out of Arizona. FOX was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. FOX remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
RANDY FLASCHENRIEM, 45 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at approximately 11:24 p.m., deputies contacted RANDY FLASCHENRIEM during a traffic enforcement stop near Needles Hwy and National Trails Hwy. During the stop, FLASCHENRIEM was found to have an outstanding warrant for PC192(C)(2) –Vehicular Manslaughter without Gross Negligence. FLASCHENRIEM was subsequently arrested, issued a citation, and released at the scene with future court date.
ANDRE CHAVEZ, 23 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at approximately 8:25 a.m., deputies contacted ANDRE CHAVEZ during a pedestrian stop near Coronado St and J Street. During the stop, CHAVEZ was found to be in violation of PC273.6(A)-Violation of a Domestic Violence Court Order. CHAVEZ was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. CHAVEZ remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $25,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
RANDY FLASCHENRIEM, 45 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 8:35 a.m., deputies contacted RANDY FLASCHENRIEM during a warrant service near the 5000 block of National Trails Hwy. During the service, FLASCHENRIEM was found to have an outstanding warrant for PC22810(A)-Unlawful Possession of Tear Gas. FLASCHENRIEM was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. FLASCHENRIEM was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
BONNIE COUCH, 69 Years Old, Resident of Big River, CA
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., deputies contacted BONNIE COUCH during a call for service near the 140000 block of Del Rey Dr in Big River. During the investigation, COUCH was found to be in violation of PC(A)(1)-Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Not a Firearm). COUCH was subsequently arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for booking. COUCH remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $40,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
CORY COPPOTELLI, 68 Years Old, Resident of Thousand Palms, CA
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies contacted CORY COPPOTELLI during a traffic enforcement stop near Interstate 40 and Needles Hwy. During the stop, COPPOTELLI was found to have two out of county warrants of H&S11379(A)-Transportation of Methamphetamine. COPPOTELLI was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. COPOTELLI remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with no bail awaiting extradition.
KODY PETERSON, 31 Years Old, Resident of Prescott Valley, AZ
On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 1:31 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers contacted KODY PETERSON during a traffic enforcement stop on Interstate 40 near exit 131 in Needles. During the stop, PETERSON was found to be in violation of CVC23152(A)-Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and CVC23152(B)-DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%. PETERSON was also found to have two outstanding warrants for CVC10851(A)-Vehicle Theft and several traffic offenses. PETERSON was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. PETERSON remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $105,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
RAYMOND EVANS, 32 Years Old, Resident of Moreno Valley, AZ
On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 5:48 p.m., deputies contacted RAYMOND EVANS during a marine enforcement stop near Thompson Bay on Lake Havasu. During the stop, EVANS was found to be in violation of H&N655(B)-Boating Under the Influence of Alcohol and H&N655(C)-BUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%. EVANS was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. EVANS was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
RONALD BREAULT, 59 Years Old, Resident of Fort Mohave, AZ
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies contacted RONALD BREAULT during a traffic enforcement stop near North K Street and BNSF Rd. During the stop, BREAULT was found to be in violation of H&S11378-Possession of a Controlled Substance, H&S11379-Transportation of a Controlled Substance and PC22210-Possession of an Unlawful Leaded Cane. BREAULT was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. BREAULT remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $40,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
ANDREW GUARDADO, 28 Years Old, Resident of Ontario, CA
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 1:15 p.m., deputies contacted ANDREW GUARDADO during a marine enforcement stop near Blankenship Bend on the Colorado River. During the stop, GUARDADO was found to have a fugitive warrant for his arrest out of Louisiana. GUARDADO was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. GUARDADO remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with no bail, awaiting extradition.
ANDREW ARCHULETTA, 21 Years Old, Resident of Parker, AZ
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 5:10 p.m., deputies contacted ANDREW ARCHULETTA during a marine enforcement stop near La Paz Park on the Colorado River. During the stop, ARCHULETTA was found to be in violation of H&N655(B)-Boating Under the Influence of Alcohol and H&N655(C)-BUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%. ARCHULETTA was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. ARCHULETTA was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
MATTHEW COLE, 36 Years Old, Resident of Riverside, CA
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 9:41 p.m., California Highway Patrol officers contacted MATTHEW COLE during a traffic enforcement stop near SR 62 and Rio Vista. During the stop, COLE was found to be in violation of CVC23152(A)-Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and CVC23152(B)-DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%. COLE was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. COLE was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
JESSLENE CONTRERAS, 31 Years Old, Resident of Fontana, CA
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies contacted JESSLENE CONTRERAS during a call for service reference a disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, CONTRERAS was found to be in violation of PC647(F)-Disorderly Conduct-Public Intoxication. CONTRERAS was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. CONTRERAS was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
TONY GONZALEZ, 23 Years Old, Resident of Colton, CA
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies contacted TONY GONZALEZ during a call for service reference a disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, GONZALEZ was found to be in violation of PC647(F)-Disorderly Conduct-Public Intoxication. GONZALEZ was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. GONZALEZ was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
MOLLY GONZALEZ, 57 Years Old, Resident of Colton, CA
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m., deputies contacted MOLLY GONZALEZ during a call for service reference a disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, GONZALEZ was found to be in violation of PC148(A)(1)-Obstructing/Resisting Police Officer. GONZALEZ was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. GONZALEZ was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
CODY SCOTT, 42 Years Old, Resident of Topock, AZ
On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 4:00 a.m., deputies contacted CODY SCOTT during a traffic enforcement stop near the 1900 block of J Street. During the stop, SCOTT was found to be in violation of CVC23152(A)-Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and CVC23152(B)-DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%. SCOTT was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. SCOTT was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a future court date.
The necessity to cite release arrestees is a result of several law changes and voter approved propositions over the last few years. In 2011, Assembly Bill 109 was passed by the legislature. This bill sent thousands of state prisoners to local jails, resulting in county jail overcrowding. Because of lawsuits capping the county jail population, it became necessary to release county jail inmates that were once held in custody. In 2014, the California voters passed Proposition 47, referred to as the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act. This proposition reduced many crimes to misdemeanors such as Grand Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Shoplifting, Forgery, Burglary, and Drug Possession. With a court mandated cap on the county jail inmate population, it is now necessary to cite release certain arrestees to adhere to the inmate population mandates.
