At 429 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 12 miles southeast of Mosquero to 9 miles northwest of Sumner Lake State Park, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Fort Sumner, Quay, Logan, Montoya, Newkirk, Cuervo, Ute Lake State Park and Sumner Lake State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 291 and 344. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 320 and 333. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 76 and 105.
