On 05/12/26, at approximately 1538 hours, deputies assigned to the Moorpark Police Department patrol services responded to Moorpark High School located at 4500 Tierra Rejada Road reference an indecent exposure incident. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the victim who stated the suspect had fled prior to arrival. Further investigation revealed the suspect had indecently exposed himself to the victim in the parking lot of Moorpark High School. The victim and witnesses were able to provide physical descriptors of the suspect and a possible license plate of the suspects’ vehicle.
 
The case was handed over to detectives with the Moorpark Investigations Unit where the investigation continued. With the information collected by deputies on patrol coupled with utilizing law enforcement databases, detectives were able to identify Michael Jude Dee Jr. as the individual responsible for the crime.
 
Moorpark detectives discovered the suspect lived in Lancaster and with the assistance of the Lancaster Police Department, Dee was taken into custody. Dee was arrested for violation of California Penal Code 314 - Indecent Exposure. Dee bailed out of custody.
 
 
Through investigative techniques, it was later learned Dee had attempted to/or made contact with several different minors by various means. After a thorough investigation, Dee was re-arrested for violation of California Penal Code 288.3 - Contacting a minor to commit a felony. During this investigation, detectives learned about Dee’s whereabouts before and after the investigation began. It is believed there may be more victims that had contact with Dee. Moorpark Detectives encourage anyone who may have additional information about Dee, or who has had prior contact with Dee, to contact the Moorpark Police Department.
 
The Moorpark Police Department would like to thank the citizens and businesses throughout Moorpark for their assistance. With the collaboration and trust from the public, crimes continue to be solved, allowing the judicial system to hold those responsible accountable for the crimes.
