SUSPECT(S): Steven Murphy, 37-year-old, Resident of Yucaipa

SUMMARY: On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 9:54 p.m., Yucaipa deputies responded to an alarm call in the 32100 block of Dunlap Blvd. The alarm company reported that an unknown male subject was inside of the secure yard, rummaging through their parked vehicles.
Upon arrival, Steven Murphy was found inside the yard carrying a gallon container of gasoline. He was detained and found to be on active parole. Deputies located and searched Murphy's vehicle and recovered suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside.
Murphy was booked into the Central Detention Center for: PC459C -Commercial Burglary, HS11350(A) - Possession of Narcotics, and PC3056 - Parole Violation.
