The female victim, 20, was in the area of the call location when the suspect approached and attempted to take her property by force. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled on foot. SUSPECT: Black male.
2. Shooting Into an Occupied Dwelling (2050) 4500 Block of Kentfield Road, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 29, was in his residence when he heard gunfire. After the gunfire, the victim realized his residence had been struck by gunfire. There were no injuries, and there is no suspect information.
3. Person Shot (2102) Unknown location
The male victim, 52, was at an unknown location when he was shot. The victim was later transported to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. There is no suspect information.
4. Homicide (2303) 600 Block of West Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a person shot and located a 30-year-old female victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.
