Deputies Search Location During Drug Sales Investigation and Arrest Three People

DATE/TIME: June 13, 2026 / 8:28 P.M.

INCIDENT: HS11366- Keep/Sell Narcotics/ Controlled Substance
HS11364(A)- Possession of Unlawful Paraphernalia
HS11377(A)- Possession of a Controlled Substance
       
LOCATION: 9000 Block of Malvern Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT 1: Jeffrey Warren Ashton, 36-years old, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT 2: Mason Austin Franklin, 42-years old, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT 3: Nathaniel Alcala, 26-years old, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga

VICTIM(S): State of California

SUMMARY: On Saturday, June 13, 2026, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at a location in the 7000 block of Malvern Street aftef they began an investigation related to narcotics sales.  

The suspects, later identified as Jeffrey Warren Ashton, Mason Austin Franklin and Nathaniel Alcala, were located and detained at the location. The search of the location resulted in suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia, scales, and packaging materials.

During the investigation, Franklin was found to have active warrants. Franklin was arrested and booked for two active warrants, and HS11366- Keep/Sell Narcotics/Controlled substance.

Ashton and Alcala were arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for HS11366- Keep/Sell Narcotics/Controlled Substance.
