LOCATION: 13000 Meteor Drive, Spring Valley Lake
SUSPECT: Eddy Bastiero, 52-years-old, Resident of Spring Valley Lake
SUMMARY: On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:06 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley station responded to the 13000 block of Meteor Drive in Spring Valley Lake regarding an unknown problem.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party and observed a male subject, later identified as Eddy Bastiero, exiting the residence. Bastiero failed to comply with deputies’ commands and was immediately detained.
During the investigation, deputies learned Basteiro had been involved in an argument inside the residence when he removed an illegally manufactured firearm “ghost gun”, from his waistband and fired a round towards the ceiling.
Deputies further learned Bastiero is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms. As a result of the investigation, deputies obtained and served a search warrant at the residence.
During the search, deputies recovered three pistols, two assault rifles, and a shotgun. Bastiero was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he was booked on multiple weapons related charges.
