* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Cherokee County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 850 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Columbus, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include... Galena, Lowell, Riverton, Crestline, and Lawton. This includes Interstate 44 near mile marker 0.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CHEROKEE, KS
