Today, June17th, beginning at 10:30 am the City’s contractor, Vacri Construction, will be saw cutting pavement on Dietz Street at the end of Washington Street in preparation for a watermain tie in at the location. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic through the work area safely. The sidewalks in the immediate area will also be closed to allow room for materials and equipment. Work will continue until completed.
Avoid the area if at all possible and use alternate routes. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and flaggers.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
