Wilmington Police arrest woman in connection with robbery, cutting incidents: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a woman in connection with a robbery incident and a cutting incident.
On November 9 at approximately 4:35 p.m., police responded to the 2800 block of North Market Street in reference to a robbery incident that had occurred. During the incident, the female suspect brandished a knife before fleeing.
On January 3 at approximately 4:04 a.m., police responded to the 900 block of Clifford Brown Walk in reference to a cutting incident. Two cutting victims, a 39-year-old female and a 45-year-old female, arrived at the hospital in stable condition, where they were treated and released.
The cases were assigned to Detectives Avery Stewart and Douglas Rivell of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of their investigations, they identified 33-year-old Tanekqua Stanford as a suspect in connection with both incidents, and obtained warrants for her arrest. Stanford was located and taken into custody without incident on June 15 and has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony – Two Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Assault (First Degree) – Two Counts
- Aggravated Menacing – Two Counts
