Bryan Stacey Palacios, 21, of Bluffton, is in custody at the Beaufort County Detention Center following a domestic-related homicide that occurred Tuesday afternoon at Vista View Apartments in Bluffton.
Palacios has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Shortly before 2 p.m. on June 16, 2026, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of a domestic incident in progress at the apartment complex. Responding deputies located the victim suffering from stab wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, she succumbed to her injuries. The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Elisa Palacios, 50, of Bluffton.
Bryan Palacios was also injured during the incident and transported to a hospital for treatment before being taken into custody.
The investigation remains ongoing.
