* WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 307 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain with rates in excess of 1 inch per hour. Around 1 inch of rain has fallen in portions of the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... South Side of Joliet, Hammond, Gary, Tinley Park, Calumet City, Portage, Merrillville, Chicago Heights, East Chicago, Schererville, Hobart, Lansing, Oak Forest, Crown Point, Harvey, and New Lenox. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
