The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Friday morning through Friday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 425, 426, and 427.
* WIND...Sustained south winds near 15-20 mph, with gusts 30-35 mph.
* HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity values as low as 8 percent.
* HIGHEST THREAT...is located in zone 425.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: WHITE PINE AND NORTHEAST NYE COUNTIES ... NORTHERN NYE COUNTY - MOJAVE ... CENTRAL NEVADA - TOIYABE
