Northwestern Moultrie County in central Illinois... Northern Shelby County in central Illinois... Southwestern Piatt County in central Illinois... Macon County in central Illinois...

* Until 645 PM CDT.

* At 543 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Niantic, or 13 miles west of Decatur, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near... Decatur and Harristown around 550 PM CDT. Mount Zion, Long Creek, and Decatur Airport around 555 PM CDT. This includes Interstate 72 between mile markers 122 and 149. This also includes Lincoln Trail Homestead State Park & Memorial and Spitler Woods State Natural Area.
