* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Coles County in east central Illinois... Southern Edgar County in east central Illinois... Northern Clark County in east central Illinois...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 707 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Westfield, or near Charleston, moving east at 45 mph. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW! HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction is possible.

* The tornado will be near... Ashmore and Westfield around 710 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Marshall. This also includes Lincoln Trail State Park. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 134 and 154.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CLARK, IL ... COLES, IL ... EDGAR, IL
