* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Greenup County in northeastern Kentucky... Carter County in northeastern Kentucky... Southwestern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 545 AM EDT.

* At 510 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Peebles to Grange City, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Grayson, Olive Hill, Grayson Lake State Park, Carter Caves State Park, Greenup, Load, Gesling, Greenbo Lake, Oldtown, Letitia, Carter, South Shore, Grahn, Hopewell, Brushart, Warnock, Soldier, Globe, Grays Branch, and South Portsmouth. This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 150 and 173.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CARTER, KY ... GREENUP, KY ... JACKSON, OH

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
