Following yesterday's storm, the City of Ely will make the Public Works facility available through next week for residents to dispose of tree debris caused by the storm. They will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Stop by the office at Public Works when you pull in and staff will direct you.

If you have a small amount of debris, it may be placed in the public right-of-way for collection. City staff will chip these piles during the regularly scheduled limb chipping program next Tuesday.

Please note that large amounts of debris (more than two small piles) or limbs greater than 2 inches in diameter will not be collected through the limb chipping program and must be taken to the Public Works facility by the property owner.
