1. Resisting Arrest (1643) 6300 Block of Porterfield Court, Lakeview District
Officers responded to an unknown disturbance called in by the suspect. The suspect refused to explain to the officers why he had called, and they attempted to leave. The suspect blocked their path, pushed one officer, and held the exit gate closed. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Carlton Barrett, 35, for battery on an officer, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest.
2. Shooting into a Dwelling (0014) 2000 Block of East Church Street, Park District
The two female victims, 51 and 17, and the male victim, 53, were inside an area residence when they heard gunshots, and the residence was struck by gunfire. No one was injured. There is no suspect information.
