OPD Celebrates FBI National Academy Graduate


The Oakland Police Department congratulates Acting Captain Gloria Beltran on graduating from the 298th Session of the FBI National Academy, held today, June 18, 2026, in Quantico, Virginia.

The FBI National Academy is a prestigious 10-week program offering advanced training in leadership, communication, and fitness to law enforcement professionals from across the nation and around the world. The 298th Session included 255 officers representing 46 states and the District of Columbia, as well as participants from 26 countries, five military organizations, and four federal civilian agencies.

Captain Beltran now joins a distinguished alumni network of more than 51,000 officers who have completed the program over the past 91 years.

Captain Beltran's achievement demonstrates dedication and brings distinction to the Oakland Police Department.
