On June 12, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m. 33-year-old Donna Stout of Evansville drover her Black 2014 Toyota to the Gibson County Detention Center for a court ordered drug screen. Upon receiving the results of the test Community Corrections staff discovered Ms. Stout was positive for alcohol. At that point Deputies were dispatched to the scene where a OWI investigation was conducted. Once the investigation as completed Ms. Stout was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Prior Conviction.
Arresting Officer Wes Baumgart was assisted in his investigation by Deputy Wyatt Hunt and Community Corrections Officers Irvin Rocha and Mya Straw.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
