Friday 9:35am - The City of Athens Public Works Department is working to restore water service in the southeast portion of the city. The June 18th storm disrupted the telemetry system that controls pump times and tank levels. The department is manually refilling the system, taking care to do so slowly to avoid creating main line breaks. Thank you for your patience.
